"Healthy You: All About Sex, Relationships, and Boundaries"

All young adults are in need of information when it comes to sexual health. This topic should not be exclusive in any way, and my goal is to teach, coach, and guide learning in a safe and supportive way for all levels. This four-session program is specifically tailored to explore sexual health topics and issues with young adults who have differing needs and abilities. Much of the planning that has gone into developing this program was done with parents and caregivers of these young adults, which means the content is both necessary and relevant. Participants will go home with materials that they are able to read over with their parents in the hopes of facilitating healthy discussions about sex and relationships. All material is presented in simple and clear language with visuals and interactive activities to keep participants engaged. We also have fun!

Topics include:

  • Personal safety and boundaries
  • Differences between "real" relationships and fantasy
  • Understanding the importance of private spaces for self-stimulation
  • Body changes and personal hygiene
  • Contraceptives and pregnancy
  • Safe-sex and STI prevention
  • LGBTQ and sexual orientation
